Getting Started

How do I add a contact?

Tap the "Add Contact" button on the home screen. Choose a relationship type (Mom, Dad, Friend, etc.), select a contact from your phone, then set your preferred call frequency and reminder time.

How do reminders work?

Call Mom sends you a gentle notification at your scheduled time. You can set reminders for weekly or monthly calls. When you receive a reminder, tap it to call directly or snooze for later.

Can I change reminder times?

Yes! Go to Settings, tap on the contact you want to modify, and update the reminder day and time. Changes take effect immediately.

Features

How do streaks work?

Your streak increases each time you complete a scheduled call. If you miss a call window, your streak resets to zero. Streaks help you build consistent calling habits with the people who matter.

What are special dates?

Special dates are birthdays, anniversaries, or other important dates you want to remember. Call Mom will remind you a day before so you never forget to call on these meaningful occasions.

Can I add notes after a call?

Yes! After marking a call complete, you can add notes about what you discussed. This helps you remember topics for your next conversation.

Purchase & Account

How do I restore my purchase?

If you've reinstalled the app or got a new device, go to the paywall screen and tap "Restore Purchase." This will restore your lifetime access using your Apple ID.

Is there a subscription?

No! Call Mom is a one-time purchase of $4.99. Pay once and it's yours forever, including all future updates. No recurring charges, no hidden fees.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are processed through the App Store. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and follow the instructions to request a refund.

Privacy & Data

Is my data private?

Absolutely. Your contact information, notes, and schedules are stored locally on your device. We don't upload your personal data to any servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Does Call Mom access my full contact list?

No. We only access the specific contacts you choose to add to Call Mom. We never read or upload your entire contact list.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can delete individual contacts from the Settings screen, or uninstall the app to remove all data. Since data is stored locally, uninstalling completely removes everything.
